6-2-2016 // Mock DWI at Liverpool High School // 0900 Hours
Volunteers from Moyers Corners participated in the annual Mock DWI at Liverpool High School along with NOVA Ambulance, NYS Troopers, Onondaga County District Attorney's Office, TLC and the County Medical Examiner. Students from the LHS Drama Club acted as victims and the DWI suspect while the 2016 Senior Class looked on. This annual event gives the seniors a first-hand look at the consequences of driving while intoxicated from the arrival of the first responders to the arraignment at court. We have been participating in this event for over twenty years, with some of our responders once sitting in the very same bleachers watching. We wish the Liverpool High School Class of 2016 the best of luck and hope you all stay safe and be smart.
