The MCFD welcomed over 150 girl scouts, parents, and scout leaders for a multi-agency event geared towards safety. We were honored to host and attend this event alongside the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, Nova Ambulance, McMahon / Ryan Child Advocacy Center, and the Vera House. Girl scouts from Daisy (Grades K-1); Brownie (Grades 2-3); Junior (Grades 4-5); Cadette (Grades 6-8); Senior (Grades 9-10); Ambassador (Grades 11-12) levels were tasked with going table-to-table to ask questions to each agency so that they may earn their safety badges. The girl scouts were also tasked with finding various equipment on our apparatus and ask questions about them. The event was concluded with a "friendship circle" that included all the participants, which we were more than happy to join
