11-07-2022 // Passing of Honorary Member / Past Active Member Ed Jones

The Moyers Corners Fire Department is saddened to learn of the passing of former Active Member/ current Honorary Member Ed Jones.

A member from 1984-1993, he left a lasting impression while he was assigned to Station 3.

Eddie was also an award-winning Photojournalist with NewsChannel 9, and over 4 decades earned many accolades including several Syracuse Press Club Awards, NYS Broadcasters Association Awards, Edward R Murrow awards, and in 2020 was inducted to the Syracuse Press Club Wall of Distinction at the Civic Center.
